San Diego to Columbia, Part 11 – Idaho

Today we saw Great Uncle LeRoy in Pocatello.

We stopped at Craters of the Moon National Monument and saw different lava formations.

We got to look inside a volcano.

The rocks were all different colors: brown, red, blue, green, rust, and even black.

A colorful volcano at Craters of the Moon National Monument, in northern Idaho. Lykara was not pleased with the monument, describing it as "a bunch of boring rocks," but her illustration was exceptionally colorful.
