After resisting for years, I was finally told I had to move out of my office. The walls were going to be demolished, the electrical circuits jerked out, and all six of my high-speed Ethernet links cut. I was sad.
So I made a video of the march of my various office pets from my old office to my new office. The video was composed of a bunch of still images that were then cropped and sequenced together. A soundtrack, title frames, credits, voice narration, and music track were added. Everything, including the voice narration, was computer generated.
The original video was offered in four different sizes, in three different Apple QuickTime formats. These could no longer be played, without some difficulty, so the hosting page was updated to a responsive design, and the video was converted to a more standards-compliant MP4.
And yes, the sound effects really were by way of George Lucas’ production facilities.
