The International Military Tribunal for the Far East (IMTFE) was the Pacific and Asian theater version of the International Military Tribunal at Nuremberg, held after World War II to punish the military and political leaders responsible for the war. Most of the scholarly and popular attention focused on Nuremberg, where the surviving leadership of the Third Reich faced an international court. In contrast, the International Military Tribunal for the Far East has received very little attention.
As time permits, I will post my research on the IMTFE, collected in its own section on the site.
