You can clearly see the balcony of the Hirshhorn on the right side. "Song 1" at this point shows images of people in a laboratory, cut off from the world but thinking about others.

The Washington Monument by night. The red lights at the top are either a sign of a secret government conspiratorial cult or -- far less likely -- aircraft warning lights.

The Smithsonian Castle. It really isn't a castle (for one thing, it isn't fortified), but the pseudo-Norman style with Gothic and Romanesque touches makes it look more like a castle than anything else in Washington.

The Capitol. Neither house is in session (which is about normal) and the Statue of Freedom at the top of the dome is covered. This is not normal.
