…it became apparent that the lights were auto lights in traffic, at night. Appropriately, the music arrangement at this point was somewhat wistful.

The large black slot in the building, by the way, is the opening to a balcony on the side of the Hirshhorn Museum.

Eleven massive projectors were used to wrap "Song 1" around the Hirshhorn.

Since the song was part of the experience, large stacks of speakers were used to amplify "I only have eyes for you." While you could hear it from a couple blocks away, it at no point seemed too loud.

Moving to the corner closest to the National Air and Space Museum, an attempt was made to capture the moon at the same time as "Song 1." This nearly one second image managed to catch the streak of a jet airliner and an overexposed moon.
