The yellow flag, 200 yards from camera, marks one end of the "government" (British) line of battle at Culloden Moor. When the battle was over, the weather, ground and artillery, not to mentioned disciplined redcoats, had killed over 1200 Highlanders, at the cost of 350 government troops.
