The party was held in the Eisenhower Suite of Walter Reed Army Medical Center. This suite of rooms, located in the "old hospital," was used by President Eisenhower during illnesses while he was president and after his retirement. Originally a hospital ward, the entire area was given over for his use. It is currently used as a VIP reception area. This room serves as the reception room. Kathleen invited all members of her project team, Army, Navy, Air Force, civil service and contractor, to the party.
