Caption: At the end of the third quarter of UPenn games, the students sing "Highball," which has a verse during which the students drink something alcoholic. In 1950, the university president banned alcohol at games -- so the students started taking toasted bread to games, and at the point where they previously offered a toast, they threw toast onto the field. In the 1970s, the university president ordered the engineering department to "do something" about the toast, so two students created the world's first toast-sucking Zamboni.
