The rough stones are the grave markers of the clans. The graves themselves are long, low mounds. Until fairly recently, the nearby highway ran right through the center of the battlefield and graves, but Historic Scotland pressured to have the highway rerouted and restored the battlefield. © 2004 Lawrence I.
