One of the most striking items of note about Scottish churches, large and small, is the complete lack of interest in separating church and state. This stained glass window in Glasgow Cathedral is dedicated to the Royal Air Force (the next five photos have details), and there are memorials and battle flags to Scottish regiments and battles throughout the church, some of them several centuries old. © 2004 Lawrence I.
