Patterns of the Fantastic II<\/strong><\/a><\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

is a volume of essays and papers presented in the scholarly track of the World Science Fiction Convention held in Baltimore, Maryland, in 1983. I was in the process of moving to Japan a the time, and my brother Ian presented my paper. Donald Hassler, the organizer of the track and editor of the volume, sent me a very nice letter complimenting my brother on the excellent presentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was easier to scan and OCR (convert to text via Optical Character Recognition) the original manuscript than to scan the book. And yes, it has a lot of footnotes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
