The original film and slide photos were destroyed while in storage. The film and slides were put in &#8220;archival&#8221; plastic sleeves that, instead of preserving the images, destroyed them. The only copies left were prints that had been displayed on the walls, and were damaged over time by sunlight. The prints were scanned in to create digital images.
