The National Book Festival is sponsored by the Library of Congress, and is a book lover’s paradise.<\/p>\n

A modern version of the Rosetta Stone, hidden away in the lobby of the Washington Convention Center.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Update: while jokingly calling this a \u201cmodern Rosetta Stone,\u201d it turns out the artist is none other than Jim Sanborn, who created the famed (and insufferably cryptic) Kryptos sculpture in the courtyard of the Central Intelligence Agency\u2019s headquarters. Sanborn also created the Wave Pool in front of NOAA’s Science Center in Silver Spring, Maryland.<\/em><\/p>\n
