Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary

Stellwagen Bank is a National Marine Sanctuary off the coast of Massachusetts, headquartered in an old Coast Guard station in Scituate. This visit was during a frozen February 2001.

Frozen Scituate Brook. The town name (and brook name) are from an Indian word first recorded as "satuit" or "septeat," until it was more or less standardized as "Scituate" in 1640.
