San Diego to Columbia, Part 15 – South Dakota

Today we went to the South Dakota Air and Space Museum. At the museum and air base we saw B-1 and B-52 bombers, FB-111 and A-7 bombers, KC-135 tankers, B-25 and B-26 and A-20 bombers, and T-38, T-33, F-84, F-86, F-101, and F-105 fighters.

We then went to Mount Rushmore and saw great carvings of four presidents, none of whom was President Bush.

We then went to see Crazy Horse Mountain.

We then went to the Badlands National Park where Dad took boring pictures of rocks.

Then we went to the hotel where I had fun swimming and swinging and doing gymnastics without help.

Earlier in the morning, we saw Wall Drug in Wall, South Dakota. It was cool — it had jewelry and hats with feathers in the top.

We saw pronghorn antelope and jackrabbits.
