The National Book Festival is sponsored by the Library of Congress, and is a book lover’s paradise.
Update: while jokingly calling this a “modern Rosetta Stone,” it turns out the artist is none other than Jim Sanborn, who created the famed (and insufferably cryptic) Kryptos sculpture in the courtyard of the Central Intelligence Agency’s headquarters. Sanborn also created the Wave Pool in front of NOAA’s Science Center in Silver Spring, Maryland.
